Method |
A precursor-ion scanning method that can be
performed in the positive mode has recently
been developed for the specific detection of phosphotyrosine-containing peptides [primary sources]. This
method is based on the ability to selectively detect the
immonium ions of phosphotyrosine residues that
have an m/z value of 216.043. Immonium ions are
generated by double cleavage of the peptide backbone. |
