Comments The concentration of Kip3p in vivo is ~30 nM (700 molecules [Ghaemmaghami et al., 2003] in a volume of 20 to 40 µm^3 [Tyson et al., 1979]), though some molecules may not be active cellular microtubules are up to several microns long.
