Comments "The kinetic characteristics of the glmS ribozyme seem to be sufficient to serve as a riboswitch for the control of gene expression. A plot of the rate constant for ribozyme function versus the concentration of GlcN6P reveals that the rate constant for RNA cleavage becomes half maximal at a metabolite concentration of 200µM (Fig. 2c)."
