P.2 bottom paragraph: "Physiological characterization of TM29 and MG1363 at different temperatures: After a long-term thermal adaptation (860 generations), TM29 was isolated. This strain was able to grow at 40 °C,
which is ten degrees above the normal optimal growth temperature of the parent strain (Fig. 1A). It was found that the optimum growth temperature of TM29 had been shifted from 30 °C to 36 °C, and the maximum specific growth rate (1.16 ± 0.02 h^−1) was similar to the optimum of that of its parent, MG1363 (1.13 ± 0.03 h^−1)." |
