P.19 right column bottom paragraph: "To illustrate the multitude and diversity of some of the currently known membrane-less organelles, Table 2 represents their major characteristics, such as functions, intracellular location, abundance, main physical features, and molecular compositions. It is worth noting that the table does not represent an exhaustive list of PMLOs, as new cellular bodies continue to be discovered on a regular basis. Current data show that these PMLOs are many, come in different sizes, shapes, and morphologies, possess different specific functions, and have intricate ‘life’, which is highly correlated with the different cellular processes (such as a response to various stresses or the cell cycle). Furthermore, it was emphasized that PMLOs might exhibit an intrinsic dependence on cell size, as the size of many PMLOs correlates with the cellular size [ref 15]." See notes beneath table |
