Abstract: "A new human uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS) cell line, TU-ECS-1, was established and characterized." P.141 right column 2nd paragraph: "TU-ECS-1 cells were treated with 0.1% trypsin solution for 15 s at room temperature and then stained with quinacrine-Hoechst stain for Q-Band karyotyping. Histograms of the chromosomal distribution were determined after more than 50 metaphases." |
Comments |
Abstract: "The chromosome number ranged from 44 to 49 and had an extra chromosome 12 (trisomy 12)." P.143 left column bottom paragraph: "The number of chromosomes varied from 44 to 49 and the modal chromosome number was 47 (Fig. 2 Table 2). Chromosomal aneuploidy was also detectable in all 10 cells randomly extracted from 50 diploid cells, which included two cells with 46 chromosomes and eight with 47 chromosomes, with an extra chromosome 12 (trisomy 12). Indeed, chromosome 12 long-arm deletion occurred in 50% of the diploid cells." |
