program is believed to be fixed before S-phase. For
example, if replication fork velocity is ~1 kb/min, a 1-Mb
replicon would take over 8h to replicate compared with 70min for a 140-kb replicon. Moreover, individual replication
foci, where DNA is synthesized, last for a period of ~60 min
