Method "Biochemical and genetic analyses were carried out with both V. cholerae GEMM RNAs to determine whether they function as aptamers for cyclic di-GMP. A 110-nucleotide Vc2 RNA construct (110 Vc2) (Fig. 1A) was subjected to in-line probing (17) in the absence or presence of 100mM cyclic di-GMP (Fig.1B)."
