Method |
To determine the Vin value, standard NAD+ solutions were prepared in 0.2 M HCl. This
solution was used to rupture cells and extract the intracellular NAD+ |
Comments |
"...the Vin values of E. coli BL21(DE3) and A. tumefaciens AGL1 samples were
determined to be 24.2 µL and 80.2 µL, and the normalized Vin values were 1.9 µL·mg–1 and
1.8 µL·mg–1, respectively. As 1 OD600 equals to 7.8 ×10^8 cell·mL–1 for E. coli culture
(Volkmer and Heinemann, 2011), the Vin value could also be normalized as 6.7×10^–10 µL/cell." |
