Heterotrophic and mixotrophic cells were grown in TAP media
[Harris EH: The Chlamydomonas Sourcebook 1989] and autotrophic cells were grown in similar media
without addition of acetic acid. Growth was monitored spectrophotometrically by
measuring absorbance at 750 nm. |
