No effect of catabolite
repression on major OMP was observed, since cyclic AMP at 1 mM did not alter the relative
proportion of these proteins (Table link), although bacteria grew more slowly and the total
amount of protein per cell was reduced in the presence of cyclic AMP in both LB medium
and minimal medium plus glucose. |
