P.462 left column 3rd paragraph: "For the growth rate experiments 200 mL Luria–Bertani (LB) medium (1% bacto-tryptone, 0.5% NaCl, and 0.5% yeast extract) in a 1000-mL flask was inoculated with 1 mL of an overnight culture of E. coli TG1.
