Comments |
DNA sequence shows repeating motifs every 3 bp due to codon bias. Additionally in eukaryotes and archaea there is 10 bp repeat of dinucleotides (BNID 103151)assumed to facilitate nucleosome binding. Interestingly, eubacterial genomes, which lack histones, nevertheless encode 11 bp-periodic distributions of AA/TT dinucleotides. |
