In in vitro
phosphorylation experiments, 60% of the HPr was converted
to P-Ser-HPr when 6 mM pyrophosphate and 3 mM phosphate
were present, whereas no P-Ser-HPr could be detected with 1
mM pyrophosphate and 50 mM phosphate. |
