DNA for cultures of E. coli B/r determined
here nearly agree with those estimated previously
(Table 3), although entirely different methods were used (see reference 13: measurement
of the differential rate of synthesis of ribosomal
protein for the RNA/protein ratio and
[14C]uracil labeling for the RNA/DNA ratio). |
