Researchers generated a EYFP targeted to mitochondrial intermembrane space
IMS (MIMS-EYFP) to determine for the first time the
pH within this mitochondrial compartment in intact cells. A similar calibration was carried
out also in cells transfected with cyt-EYFP and with mt-
EYFP. |
