Method |
The total number of dividing cells in
the region and their cell cycle time
were estimated in young adult rats (9 weeks old,
300 g) by using double labeling with BrdU and [3H]thymidine
to determine the length of their S-phase and cumulative
BrdU labeling to identify the total number of
dividing precursors as well as the proportion of cells in
S-phase at a given time. |
