Comments |
Trichomes of Arabidopsis thaliana comprise a single cell,
each 300–500 µm in length with, usually, three to four
branches. In contrast to trichomes from other plants
species, Arabidopsis trichomes are non-glandular and appear
to act as a simple mechanical barrier on the leaf
surface (Esau, 1953 Glover, 2000). |
