The concentration of total AdN in maize mesophyll chloroplasts was estimated to be about 1.4 mM. This amount of total AdN is comparable to the reported values of 29 to 47 nmol/mg Chl with C3 mesophyll chloroplasts of spinach (43), wheat (36), and oat leaves (16). |
