Spinach was grown in a greenhouse with additional light in an 10 h light/14 h dark period. Leaves were harvested after more than 6 h illumination.Chlorophyll, the activity of pyruvate kinase and the distribution of ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate and uridine diphosphoglucose were taken to estimate the contamination of the chloroplast fraction by cytoplasm. |
