Comments P.2 top paragraph: "Plant peroxisomes are classified into three groups: glyoxysomes, leaf peroxisomes and unspecialized peroxisomes. They all contain catalase-however, they differ strikingly in other features. Glyoxysomes are involved predominantly in the glyoxylate cycle and fatty acid β-oxidation, while leaf peroxisomes play a role in metabolizing glycolic acid. The glyoxylic acid cycle is also localized in yeast peroxisomes. There are ∼50 proteins in animal and fungal peroxisomes, and ∼100 proteins in plant peroxisomes (primary source Michels et al. 2005). In Saccharomyces cerevisiae, there are at least 66 peroxisomal proteins (primary source Kohlwein, Veenhuis and van der Klei 2013)."
