"In Fig. 5, the logarithm of mean lifetime, log t, is presented as a function of U for a membrane from general lipids in 0.1 M NaCl solution. As can be seen from the figure, in the potential range 300 to 600mV the U dependence of logt is close to linear, the increase in U by 100mV leading to a tenfold decrease of t."
