Comments p.734 right column 2nd paragraph:"Is the mechanism for selecting clusters of replication origins independent from the mechanism for selecting individual origins? Firing at a given DNA replication origin may inhibit firing at nearby origins by an origin interference mechanism (primary sources) that leads to the 100–120 kb average size of a replicon.
