Amiloride-sensitive Na+ channels form a wide superfamily of channels with single-channel conductances in the range of 3–40 pS, Na+ over K+ selectivity of between 1 and 50, and an IC50 for amiloride-induced inhibition in the range of 0.1–10 µM (see PMID 9114818 for review).
