Comments P.177 right column bottom paragraph: "OHCs form one of the two distinct classes of sensory hair cells found in the mammalian cochlea (see Fig. 1) They are cylindrical cells 15–70µm long and are three to four times as numerous as the IHCs (inner hair cells). They are positioned in the organ of Corti near the center of the basilar membrane."
