Comments P.327 left column 3rd paragraph: "Both the radial and the longitudinal dimensions of CNS myelin sheaths are coupled to axon diameter. The mature CNS myelin sheath may have up to 160 compacted lamellae. The number of myelin lamellae is related to axon diameter according to a curvilinear function, that varies between species (Fig. 9, Hildebrand and Hahn, 1978)."
