P.370 right column 2nd paragraph: "Secreted and membrane proteins comprise approximately 30% of the eukaryotic proteome (primary source) and are synthesized primarily on ER [endoplasmic reticulum]-associated polysomes. [Investigators] determined the relative contribution of cytosolic and ER-associated polysomes to total CTU [cotranslational ubiquitination] by fractionating the two types of polysomes by sequential detergent extraction (Jagannathan et al., 2011)." |
