| Method | An OCT system (OCP930SR, Thorlabs, Newton, NJ, USA), working at 930±5nm with 100±5nm FWHM and an optical power of 2mW, a resolution of 6.2µm and a maximum image depth of 1.6mm, was used to generate cross-sectional images of standard Afro-ethnic hair (DeMeo Brothers) physically fixed in a sample holder capable of maintaining the fiber straight, without natural distortions. |
