Range ~60 %
Organism Mouse Mus musculus

Method Primary source abstract: "Using retroviral labeling of precursors in the SVZ [Subventricular Zone], [investigators] describe five stages and the timing for the maturation of newly formed GCs [granule cells]... Using [3H]thymidine, [they] show that the maximum number of labeled GCs is observed around day 15 after injection."
Comments P.23 right column bottom paragraph: " Although most newly born OB interneurons initially become synaptically integrated into the OB (Belluzzi et al. 2003, Carleton et al. 2003), only ∼60% of adult-born OB interneurons survive for more than a month (primary source)."
