Method Arrhenius analysis of the dependence of L-cell nuclear envelope NTPase activity on temperature resulted in a linear plot (temperature range 0-35°C). In vitro system shown to be an adequate model for in vivo mRNA transport (see p. 156 left column 3rd paragraph).
