||Primary source abstract: "This paper presents a procedure for mapping the distribution of replicating cells on the aortic surface and for quantitatively determining the rate of aortic endothelial cell replication using a new method of preparing the endothelium for 3H thymidine autoradiography. Data from 3 month old rats show a relatively low rate of replication, approximately 0.3% to 1.5% of the population entering DNA synthesis each day."
||P.4549 left column: "Normal tissues are characterized by the presence of blood and lymphatic vessels lined by endothelial cells
exhibiting a low proliferation rate ranged between 0.1- 3% of all endothelial cells which turnover daily but this percentage decline with age (primary source)." Primary source studied rats
