Comments "A common feature of the torque–speed relationships of E. coli and V. alginolyticus is a sharp knee between a “plateau” of nearly constant torque at low speeds and a much steeper linear decrease of torque with speed at higher speeds. At room temperature the knee is at ~175 Hz in E. coli and at~450Hz in V. alginolyticus, and the zero-torque speeds are ~350 and ~700 Hz, respectively. In E. coli, the knee speed and zero-torque speed are temperature dependent, but the plateau torque is not."
