Comments "The growth rate of Neurospora crassa mycelia in liquid shaken cultures depends at any given temperature upon the composition of the nutrient medium (6). By a convenient choice of the carbon and of the nitrogen sources, it is possible to elicit a wide range of exponential growth rates (Table I)."
