Comments "The striking property of these channels is that they greatly favor K+ over other monovalent cations and absolutely exclude anions, as with the ion-selective category, but with conductances at 0.1M K+ of 130-200 pS, representing the transport of about 10^8 ions per sec at 100 mV, 10-50 times higher than rates of the ion-selective channels."
