Comments P.379 left column top paragraph: "Oceanic primary production (P) represents about half of the planet's primary production (ref 1 BNID 115374), ranging from 35 to 65 gigatonnes of carbon per year (Gt C/yr) (refs 1, 3, 4, 5, primary source 2 BNID 115373) with open ocean production accounting for over 80% of the total (primary source). Only a small fraction of this organic matter is buried in the ocean's sediments, the bulk of the organic matter produced being instead remineralized through respiration (ref 3)." (Gt C/yr)=gigatonnes of carbon per year=10^9 tonnes of carbon per year
