Comments P.2175 right column bottom paragraph: "Comparison between species CYPs of the families 1–3 are major contributors to the xenobiotic metabolism in the liver. However, in the skin, their proteins (see text) and their activities (summarized in Table 1) are in part very low, in part below quantification, and in many instances below detection limit. This can be seen in all five species summarized in this review, human, rat, mouse, guinea pig, and pig, although the data pool is scarce." See notes beneath table
