Comments p.1166 left column bottom paragraph:"In the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, approximately 1.5×10^7 total zinc atoms per cell are required for optimal growth (primary source). This value is referred to as the “zinc quota” for yeast and probably represents the level required to optimally metalate zinc-dependent proteins in the cell (ref 40). Below that amount, cells grow more slowly. When zinc levels drop below a minimum threshold of ~5×10^6 atoms per cell, growth ceases altogether."
