Organism Yeast Candida utilis
Reference Brown CM, Rose AH. Effects of temperature on composition and cell volume of Candida utilis. J Bacteriol. 1969 Jan97(1):261-70. p.269 table 5PubMed ID5764333
Method "Candida utilis NCYC 321 was grown in steady-state culture in a chemostat under glucose limitation or NH(4)(+) limitation at temperatures of 30, 25, 20, and 15 C and at dilution rates (equal to growth rates) in the range of 0.35 to 0.05 hr(-1)."
Comments "Cells were grown in a chemostat at a rate of 0.2 hr^-1 under NH4+ limitation. The medium contained 10 g of glucose and 0.24 g of (NH4)2SO4 per liter. All values quoted are averages of duplicate determinations on at least two different cell crops."
