Organism Budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Method "Glucose transport kinetics were determined for cells grown at a fixed specific growth rate under different nutrient limitations and for cells from aerobic glucose limited chemostat cultures grown at various specific growth rates."
Comments "The galactose-limited and anaerobic glucose-limited cultures (D=0.1 h^-1) displayed single-component high affinity glucose transport. All of the other cultures examined at this dilution rate displayed both high and low affinity kinetics (Table IV)."
