Comments "Although rRNA helices are formed predominantly due to antiparallel Watson- Crick base pairing (more than 80% of the base pairs in the known rRNAs), G:U and U:G pairs also occur with relatively high frequency (13%). Among other possible noncanonical base pairs, A:G (G:A) and U:U are observed rather frequently (3% and 1 %, respectively)."
