Range ~0.8 Table - link μm^2/sec
Organism Bacteria Escherichia coli

Method Researchers used fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP) along with a detailed numerical model that simulates FRAP experiments, to systematically investigate mobility of cytoplasmic, inner membrane, and DNA-binding proteins in Escherichia coli.
Comments Another surprising finding was that at high MM (molecular mass), from 70 to 250 kDa, the estimated diffusion coefficient was almost MM-independent, with plateau at D0~0.8µm^2/sec.
