Stereological
analysis of light and electron micrographs: 173 electron micrographs of thin sections with primary magnifications of 2,000-29,000 were evaluated by the point counting method (Steer 1981). Linear regression was applied to the data. Corrections were applied to determine volumes from fixed to fresh cells. |
