Method C. methylica (Cm) (ATCC 56294) was grown at 30°C for 48 h on YM medium (Difco) to a high cell density and the cells pelleted. FDH expression was induced by resuspending the cells in minimal media containing 0.5% methanol.
Comments FDH activity, measured by an increase in A34 o nm in the presence of NAD + and formate, reflecting NADH generation, was found in the crude cell extracts of these tranformants.
