Value 10 protons
Organism Generic

Comments The transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone results in the translocation of four protons. The other six protons translocated are the result of the reoxidation of ubiquinone. The protons are later used to drive ATP synthesis in mitochondria. See reference for more details.
