Organism Human Homo sapiens

Comments P.16 bottom paragraph: "Cortical cells are generally 1 to 6 microns thick and approximately 100 microns long [primary source] (see Figures 1-7, 1-14, and 1-15), although considerable variation in their size and shape has been reported [ref 45]. Human hair contains a symmetrical cortex, unlike wool fiber, and most of the cells are of the same general type with regard to the ratio of fibrillar to nonfibrillar matter (highly crystalline = fibrillary: less organized = nonfibrillar)."
