Method Summary: "The electronic modal lymphocyte volumes of 151 patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and 305 normal controls were determined by the hydrodynamically focused multi-channel Coulter TF analyser. The mean volumes of the normally distributed groups were 166±19.3 (range 126-216) µm^3 in patients with CLL and 206±14.4 (range 126-246) µm^3 in normal controls. The calculated cell diameters were 6.8 (6.2-7.4)µm and 7.3 (6.8-7.8)µm respectively." Wikipedia: A typical Coulter counter has one or more microchannels that separate two chambers containing electrolyte solutions. When a particle flows through one of the microchannels, it results in the electrical resistance change of the liquid filled microchannel. This resistance change can be recorded as electric current or voltage pulses, which can be correlated to size, mobility, surface charge and concentration of the particles.
Comments Range 126-246µm^3. Need to find out what is "±14.4"
