Comments p.903 left column bottom paragraph:"The total length of the large and small intestines is about twenty times the length of the body in the ox, and twenty-five times in the sheep and goat. The small intestine has an average length of 40 m in the ox and 25 m in the sheep and goat. The average diameter is 5 to 6 cm in the ox and 2 to 3 cm in the small ruminants."
