"On each day one batch of cells was used for one or
two control experiments, as described in the
Methods section. The cells were next recovered,
reloaded with radioactive chloride and bicarbonate
(cf. Methods section) and used for another efflux
experiment. The re-use procedure and flux
experiment were repeated two or three times." |
