Method Many of the photon-yield and fluorescence determinations on plants grown in their native habitats were made in North Queensland, Australia, during the period from May through October 1983. See equation on page 394 for calculation of photon yield
Comments The photon yield on the basis of incident light (phi) among the C3 species listed in Table link (see above) ranged from 0.0776 in a light-green leaf of the mangrove Sonneratia alba (No. 41) to 0.0980 in a dark-green shade leaf of Schefflera actinophylla (No. 39).
