Comments Capsids of papilloma and polyoma viruses (papovavirus family) are composed of 72 pentameric capsomeres arranged on a skewed icosahedral lattice (triangulation number of seven, T = 7).A T = 7 lattice is a geometrical object (Figure 1). It exists as either a left (T = 7laevo) or a right (T = 7dextro) handed enantiomorph. CRPV is the only papovavirus reported to have a T = 7l capsid
